Art Advocacy Statement
There are a variety of arguments that individuals and organizations make to advocate for the arts. They say the arts help those who are marginalized, inspire those who are already great achievers and bring together communities. They state that the observation skills gained can help in science classes and the drawing can help with industrial design and drawing for technological use. I think the greatest of the arguments for an art education is that it fosters creativity and innovation.

Looking back over my life, and my education and careers, I believe that any success that I have had has been due to the creativity I have brought to the situation. This is the same creativity was fostered by art classes I had in elementary, high school and college. Through applying my creativity, I was able to provide unique solutions for my jobs in real estate, IT and publishing.
Now it is time for me to apply my creativity to help others develop theirs!
